Daglo Bids Farewell to Ambassadors Leaving to Take over their Duties Abroad

Khartoum, May 18 (SUNA) – Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, received in the Republican Palace a number of a number of ambassadors who were nominated to work in Sudan’s embassies abroad.

Ambassador Adel Yousif Banaga, who was nominated to head the Sudan Mission in Ireland, said in a press statement on behalf of the ambassadors the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council has urged them to increase their efforts to serve Sudan’s economic, political and security interests.

He affirmed the ambassadors’ determination to strengthen Sudan’s foreign relations, work to achieve its interests, reflect its economic potentialities, great resources and promising investment opportunities, and to work to boost Sudan relations with the regional and international organizations.

Ambassador Adel Yousif thanked the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council for his concern with the external work and his continuous support for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ issues.

The ambassadors who are leaving to assume their duties abroad are:-

Ambassador Ahmed Khalid Sharfi for the United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Khalid Mohamed Farah Al-Fahal for France, Ambassador Rahama Salih Al-Obeid for Djibouti, Ambassador AHMED Abdul-Rahman Mohamed Hassan Suwaral-Dahab for Qatar, Ambassador Hassan Hamed Hassan for the Swiss Confederation and Sudan permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Salah-Eddin Al-Haj Mohamed Al-Kando for the Sultanate of Oman, Ambassador Salih Mohamed Ahmed Siddiq for Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed Awadal-Sid for the Republic of Uganda, Ambassador Mawada Omer Haj Al-Toam Mohamed for the Kingdom of Morocco and Ambassador Adel Yousif Omer Banaga for Ireland.
