Court trying case of Martyr Omer to issue its verdict

Court trying the case of the killing of Martyr Hassan Mohamed Omer issues its final verdict on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the court premises at the Judicial Sciences Institute at Arkaweet quarter in Khartoum.

The court, headed by Judge Dr. Al-Sadek Abbakar, held a session today at its premises at the Judicial Sciences Institute, where it received the final statement of the Defense.

The prosecution side in the case had presented its final statement last Sunday.

Martyr Hassan Mohamed Omer, 20, of Al-Haj Yusuf quarter, Khartoum North, was hit by a bullet in the neck during a protest march on December 28, 2018 that led to his death on January 12, 2019.

It is to be noted that the accused in this case is Ashraf Abdel-Motalab, aka Abjaiqa.
