Al-Burhan meets Chinese Envoy on Middle East

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council General, Abdel Al-Fattah Al-Burhan has commended the great efforts being exerted by China to support the transitional period and its keenness to strengthen and develop the bilateral relations between Sudan and China.

Al-Burhan who received today in the Republican Palace the Chinese Envoy on Middle East, Zhai Jun has lauded deeply rooted relations linking the country, describing China as strategic partner.

The TSC President affirmed the importance of strengthening and developing the joint interest to realize the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, lauding the role of the Chinese government for provision of the vaccines to combat COVID-19 Pandemic.

He briefed the Chinese official on the recent developments in the country.

The Chinese Envoy, on his part, explained in press statements that the meeting discussed means for strengthening cooperation and friendship, affirming his country’s keenness to promote the bilateral relations as they considered a long-term strategic relation.
