Al-Burhan and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Relations and Promotion of Economic Cooperation

– The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Friday evening with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister,  Mohamed bin Salman, on the sidelines of the Arab – China Summit in Riyadh, in the presence of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance and a number of Saudi ministers and discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to consolidate them in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries.

The President of the Sovereignty Council expressed his thanks and appreciation for the invitation of Saudi Arabia to sUDAN to participate in the the Arab – China Summit, expressing his hope that the summit will achieve its goals and to meet the aspirations of the peoples of the Arab countries.

The President of the Sovereignty Council has briefed the Saudi Crown Prince on the political developments in Sudan and the signing of the political framework agreement, indicating that this step requires more support from Saudi Arabia in the coming stage. Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan readiness to create a favorable investment climate and to remove all the obstacles facing Saudi investors.

On his part, the Saudi Crown Prince announced the implementation of the Saudi – Sudanese partnership project and directed his government ministers to cooperate and coordinate efforts with their Sudanese counterparts in all fields.   The Saudi Crown Prince affirmed his country’s support for Sudan in all fields in order to achieve peace, stability and prosperity for the brotherly Sudanese people, expressing his thanks for Sudan participation in the Arab – China summit.
