Advisor of South Sudan President Arrives in Khartoum

The Advisor of South Sudan President for Security Affairs, Tut Galwak, Saturday arrived in Khartoum in an official several-day visit. at the head of a delegation of South Sudan government.

He was received at Khartoum Airport by the Secretary General of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Yousif.

In a press statement, Galwak said that he is holding a message from the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir, to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and his deputy dealing with the implementation of the clauses of Juba peace agreement as Sudan is a guarantor of the agreement.

He indicated that his visit is also aimed to be informed on the political developments in Sudan, means of achieving an agreement that ensures stability and security in Sudan, besides discussing joint security issues.

Galwak hoped that the international and African initiative will achieve success in finding a common ground for dialogue and full political consensus.
