Workshop on Federal Governance to be Held in Al-Fasher

Al-Fasher city, the capital of North Darfur State, will host on Wednesday the workshop on the federal government system in Sudan, which comes within the framework of a series of state workshops organized in the states of the country these days, in preparation for the National Conference on the System of Government.

A delegation of the northern sector of the committee for the Governance System in Sudan, headed by Dr. Ahmed Adam Yousif, arrived in Al-Fasher to inspect the latest preparations for holding local and state workshops for the system of governance

The workshop scheduled on Wednesday will be attended by the executive directors of localities, heads of the local committees, representatives of the parties to the peace process, the freedom and change, the resistance committees, the native administrations, women, youth, herdsmen, farmers, the civil society organizations, academics and the media.

The workshop will discuss the six conceptual papers, which represent a road-map for the state, which includes the axis of levels, structures, the legislations and the relationships between them, and the axes of human, financial and economic resources and services, the local government, the autonomy, the borders and geographical divisions.
