US Treasury Department Hails Sudan’s Efforts on Banking System Reform

Treasury Department  has hailed Sudan’s efforts aimed at making reform  on banking sector and  setting up good environment for investment . US Treasury representative expressed his pleasure over a telephone call to Paris conference for   the Sudan returns to international community.

He hoped out  for more steps as regard of Sudan banking sector.

US Treasury Representative pointed out that he personally was able to conduct business trade in Sudan.

Meanwhile, he called on for setting up good environment for investment in Sudan, hailing the transitional government approval for the mixed banking system after the removal of Sudan’s name from states sponsoring terrorism list and from sanctions.

Moreover he pointed to Central Bank of Sudan efforts in countering money laundering and encouragement of investment
