TSC President Meets Troika Delegation

Khartoum, July 4 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has lauded the efforts being by the Troika member-states  to maintain peace and stability in the country, besides their unlimited support to the democratic transition process.

Al-Burhan who met, Sunday, the Representatives of Troika countries; US envoy Ambassado,r Donald Booth, Britain’s Bob Fairweather and Norway’s Andre Stansen in the presence of the Norway Ambassador and the US and British Charge d, Affaires.

Al-Burhan pointed out that the signing of the Troika as guarantor witnesses of the Juba Agreement for the Peace of Sudan, is a real addition to the support and success of the peace process, stressing the government’s commitment to implementing the terms of the agreement and completing the peace file with the People’s Movement North led by Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu and the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid Mohamed Nur.

The British Envoy said in press statements that the meeting a number of issues relating to implementation of Juba Peace Agreement and the related files.
