TSC Member participates in Lake Chad Summit in Abuja

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir participates in Lake Chad Summit, which opens session today in the Nigerian capital of Abuja to discuss the security challenges facing the countries of the area and ways and means of ensuring security and stability there.

The Charge d’Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in Abuja, Omer Al-Farouq Mohamed, pointed out in a press statement that the summit is attended by member states of Lake Chad Commission, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Niger and Libya besides the Sudan.

The Charge d’Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in Abuja said that the TSC Member would hold a number of meetings on the sidelines of the summit conference with the leaders of the countries participating in the conference on ways and means of enhancing security and stability in the member states of Lake Chad Commission.

The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, arrived in Abuja yesterday to participate in the summit accompanied by Director of the African Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Khalid Farah.
