TSC First Vice President briefed on situations in W. Darfur State

First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo received at his office in the Republican Palace today Wali (governor) of West Darfur State Khamis Abdalla Abbakar.

The Wali said in a press statement following the meeting that he briefed the First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council on the current situations in the state, especially the security and humanitarian fields besides the farming season in the state.

He indicated that great achievements have been achieved in the security field, thanks to the cooperation between all bodies in this connection.

The governor praised the great humanitarian support extended by the United Arab Emirates to the state.

Meanwhile, Daglo also met today with Wali of East Darfur State Mohamed Eisa Aelaio, who briefed him on the current situations in the state, especially in the security field.

The Wali of East Darfur State affirmed stability of the security situation in the state, indicating that he briefed the First Vice President of TSC on the safe passage of nomads in their journey from the southern parts to the north and the arrangements made by the security committee and the native administration to the problems that had been facing the farmers.

He pointed out that the First Vice President of TSC affirmed his keenness on following up implementation of service and development projects in the state, especially Dain Airport, roads, and Shiekh Mohamed bin Zayed Hospital.
