Trade Ministry participates in trade talks with South Sudan

Ministry of Trade and Supplies Spokeswoman, Entisar Muheddin Dawood said the Ministry is participating in the bilateral meetings in Juba within the Sudanese delegation that left Khartoum on Thursday led by Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk on a three-day official visit to South Sudan.

The ministry’s spokeswoman pointed out that the visit to Juba comes within the framework of enhancing communication and exchanges commercial and economic interests between the two countries.

She added that the bilateral meetings would discuss removal of impediments facing the promotion of trade through border crossing points.

She stressed that the joint meetings with South Sudan are also have to arrange for resumption of exports and border trade between the two countries.
