Armed Forces Affirms its Ability to Protect Recovered Sudanese Lands

Commander of Ground Forces, Lt. Gen. Isam Mohamed Hassan Karrar, has affirmed the ability of the Armed Forces to protect every inch of the liberated lands and to deploy of the army within the borders to secure agricultural areas, stressing the deployment of the army will continue to restore all known Sudanese lands according to the 1902 borders.

In a press statement after the briefing he gave to a member of the Sovereign Council and head of the Revolutionary Front,, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, who visited Gedarif on Wednesday, Lt. Gen. Karrar stressed the Armed Forces pledge to protect the fertile Sudanese agricultural lands, which will help increasing the productivity, boosting the country’s economy and achieving a major economic progress.

He also affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces did not stage aggression against others and did not cross the borders, stating that the Armed Forces troops were deployed inside the Sudanese lands to protect the homeland and to secure lands for Sudanese farmers to cultivate this year.

Meanwhile, the member of the transitional Sovereignty Council and head of the Revolutionary Front, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, affirmed the transitional government’s support to the Armed Forces in its battle to preserve the dignity and to deploy its troops inside the Sudanese territories.\

The Wali (governor) of Gedarif State, Dr. Suleiman Ali, asserted the keenness of the keenness of the federal and Gedarif State governments to develop to border area and to make Fashaqa area attractive for all the Sudanese people.
