Sudanese-Polish joint cooperation discussed

 Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi received, Monday, the visiting Advisor of the Polish Prime Minister and reviewed with him spheres of joint cooperation between Sudan and Poland in agricultural, energy and mining and renewable energy fields.

The Prime Minister , during the meeting, explained that Sudan seeks real partnerships following the revocation of its name from the list of the countries sponsoring terrorism, adding that the country looks forward for Poland’s participation in Paris conference scheduled for mid next May.

The minister pointed out that the conference is considered appropriate to present Sudan to the world in a new image, indicating her aspiration to write off the debts that hinder Sudan’s economic progress.

The Polish official, on his part, affirmed the strong relations linking the two countries, affirming his country’s readiness write off its debts to Sudan according to the proposals submitted by it in this regard.
