Sudanese –American investment, relations discussed

Minister of Investment and International Relations, Dr. Al-Hadi Mohamed Ibrahim has discussed with the American Chargé d’ affaires to Khartoum, Brian Shukan means of prompting bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the field of investment and joint cooperation.

This came, when the Minister received the American Charge d’ Affaires on Monday, in Khartoum and briefed him on potential resources and investment opportunities in Sudan.

The American Charge d’ Affaires, on his part,, affirmed US Administration keenness, of providing technical and logistical support, to the Sudanese government during the transitional period, besides supporting Paris donors conference .

He added that an American special liaison office was established, to contribute to democratic transition process and provides technical and logistical support to Sudan. The US diplomat has pointed out that special American businessmen institution was established to deal with the investment opportunities through virtual meetings which would start as from March.30, 2021 between American –Sudanese businessmen and concerned ministries.
