Sudanese abroad to be informed on exchange rate policies

The Foreign Ministry, on Thursday, directed ambassadors and Heads of diplomatic missions of Sudan embassies abroad to hold meetings and awareness campaigns to inform the Sudanese communities on the recent decisions of the Sudan Central Bank on the new policies of unifying the national currency exchange rate.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs circulated to embassies and missions the Central Bank of Sudan circular regarding the unifying of the exchange rate, to urge and encourage communities to invest in Sudan and transfer their savings in foreign currencies to Sudan through banks, exchange banks and other official channels in accordance with the new financial measures in support and strengthening of the Sudanese economy.
