Sudan- USA to cooperate in field of forensic evidence

The visiting delegation of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to Sudan discussed ways and areas of cooperation in the field of forensic evidence,

The Director of the General Department of Criminal Evidence,  Maj. Gen. Haider Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, received  Mrs. Deb Shoemaker, the regional legal attaché of the US (FBI), and Mr. Jim Tongan, Deputy Regional Legal Attaché, accompanied by Major General, in the presence of Police General Yasser Abdul- Rahman Mohamed Ahmed, the Director of the General Department for International Cooperation, and Brig. Gen. Muawiya Al-Siddig Mohamed,  the representative of the Regional Security Office at the USA’s  Embassy in Sudan, and in the presence of the directors of the General Department of Criminal Evidence,

The visiting delegation was briefed on the technical work and role of the General Department of Criminal Evidence, and the two sides discussed ways for developing cooperation between the FBI and the General Department of Criminal Evidence.
