Sudan Flag Raised at EU Headquarters in Brussels

Brussels,  (SUNA) – The glag of the Republic of Sudan was raised at the Eropean Union headquarters in Brussels on the occasion of the arrival of the Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, in an official visit which has started by a meeting with the EU leaders and 28 European Foreign Ministers.

The official of foreign relations of the Sudanese grouping in Belgium, Tigani Ibrahim, has described the event as a strong expression of the EU supportive stance to the Prime Minister’s transitional government.

He said the visit was important based on the EU concern with Sudan.

He added that the Sudanese people abroad and inside the country are waiting for the breaking of Sudan isolation, bringing about peace and solving the crises.
