Sudan and the Netherlands Agree on Establishing Gum Arabic Factories

Khartoum (SUNA) – Sudan and The Netherlands  have agreed on supporting and facilitating establishment of gum Arabic processing  factories in Darfur, Kordofan and other states.

The objective of the suggested factories was for increasing the value added of Gum Arabic crop.

This came when the Minister of Finance and National Planning Dr. Hiba Ali Ahmed met Wednesday at the ministry with deputy head of diplomatic mission of The  Netherlands Kingdom to Sudan and her accompanied delegation.

The Minister praised the good historical ties with  The  Netherlands and the assistance it provided to Sudan.

For his part the deputy head of the mission affirmed the continuity of the technical support of his country to Sudan and efforts aimed establishment of investment relations to build partnership with Sudan in animal resources and agriculture particularly in Gum Arabic field.
