Sudan and South Sudan joint cooperation discussed

Khartoum,   (SUNA) – The Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Prof. YASSER Abbas arrived, Today, in the capital of the Republic of South Sudan, Juba and met the Advisor of the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Tut Galwak and his South Sudanese Counterpart, Manawa Peter.

Abbas said in press statements announced Sudan’s readiness to cooperate with South Sudan in provision of all information, capacity building and exchange of experiences concerning monitoring of floods besides rehabilitation of irrigation projects in Upper Nile and reactivation of all joint work mechanisms.

The minister thanked the people and the government of South Sudan led by President, Salva Kiir on the occasion of the First anniversary of the achievement of Juba Agreement on Sudan Peace.
