Khartoum(SUNA) – The Sudanese and Egyptian sides have agreed by the end of their talks Saturday in Khartoum, co-chaired by the Prime Ministers Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, and Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, on work to consolidate the cooperation between the two countries in fields of scientific research, technology and innovation and in other domains.
Sudan and Egypt also agreed on the exchange of scholarships at the B.A. and postgraduate levels, as Sudan offers (100) scholarships at its universities, and Egypt offers (200) scholarships at Al-Azhar University, besides the start of programs for technical qualification and technological education.
In the field of cadres’ training, the two sides agreed to launch specialized training programs for professional and technical rehabilitation of the Sudanese cadres, funded by the Egyptian Agency for Development Partnership, in addition to renewing the memorandum of understanding signed between the General Secretariat of the Sudanese Council of Ministers and the General Secretariat of the Egyptian Cabinet in the field of human and administrative development.
