The Speaker of the Arab Parliament , Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi has welcomed  the constructive and fruitful  outcome  of  the Paris Conference  for  Support Sudan  which was attended by the President of the Transitional  Sovereignty Council, Gen Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, Prime Minister, Dr Abdalla Hamdok, Foreign Minister, Mariam Al Sadiq Al Mahdi and a number of Sudanese officials.

The conference, which was  hosted  by Paris  on May 17 and under auspices  of President  of France, Emmanuel Macron, set to support the democratic transition  in Sudan , solicit  the required financial  and  economic support and writing off its external debts.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament stressed importance of the conference  on introducing Sudan to the international community with a new look and promoting for ample opportunities  of investment  that Sudan owns in the various fields.

Al Asoomi lauded  level  the Arab participation in the conference , calling on the international community and  the financial institutions  to swiftly  move to  write off  all Sudan’s  external debts
