Somali President: Peace in Sudan Is Important for Stability in the Region

Juba, South Sudan (SUNA) – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has said the final signing of the peace agreement Saturday is a start of a new phase in Sudan.

The Somali president stressed in his address to the signing ceremony of the Sudanese peace agreement here today the importance of sustainability of peace in Sudan through continuation of dialogue by the stakeholders in a view to realizing good governance for the benefit of the Sudanese people.

He said that realization of peace in Sudan is important for stability in the region.

He called on all Sudanese to make use of this historical opportunity for realizing national reconciliation in the country.
