Productive Oil Blocks Map up-dated

The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum has revealed the up-dating of the productive oil blocks plan in Sudan prior to presenting it for the international investment according to the policies adopted by the ministry.

The Chairman of the Promotion Department of the ministry, Engineer, Mohammed Abdel Ghani said the total number of Sudan’s oil blocks reached 26blioxck, (5) out of them are sea blocks covering regional and coastal ares in the Red Sea and (21)  land blocks including the different Sudanese states.

It is worth noting that the producing blocks at the present time are concentrated in the Muglad Basin areas, as they contain (11) oil blocks that include most of the production areas and the discovered oil reserves
