Khartoum, (SUNA) – The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum announced the resumption of oil exports today (Monday), and the return of Bashayer Port to work normally, as the loading operation of one of the ships is taking place today, after scheduling of the incoming ships for loading oil for the export
This took place after an agreement was reached by an official delegation, led by the member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi, with the protesters in east Sudan to resume the oil export operations.
This step led to removing the worries that prevailed in the oil sector since its closure on the dire consequences that might be inflicted on the oil industry in Sudan.
The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum stressed that the supply of petroleum products in all states of Sudan is very satisfactory and taking place normally, indicating there is no cause for concern in light of the normal operation of Khartoum Oil Refinery to supply the country with petroleum products.
