– Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, stressed that the Juba Peace Agreement is a national one and came to address all Sudan problems.
At the outset of his visit Saturday to Nahral-Neil State, Dr. Idris met with the chieftain of Ja’alein tribe, in the presence of the Wali (governor) of Nahral-Neil State, Dr. Amina Ahmed Al-Mekki, and community figures and leaders of the native administrations in the state.
He said that the cessation of war is an important issue, as all Sudan has been affected by it.
Dr. Idris said that the area of Nahral-Neil State is a land of history and civilization, saying that “We want to open a dialogue with the people on Nahral-Neil and the Northern States,” indicating that the Juba peace agreement is an open agreement and it has no conditions.
He affirmed that Sudan is a great country and characterized by diversity, indicating that this diversity shall be invested for the interest of the homeland.
He noted that despite the difficult conditions that the country is going through, but there is a historic opportunity to address the mistakes of the past, calling on the citizens to preserve Sudan and to reject regionalism and racism
