Al-Fashir, May 2 (SUNA) – The Government of North Darfur State, has welcomed the decision issued by the Prime Minister appointing Commander Meni Arko Menawi as Governor of Darfur Region.

Wali of North Darfur State Mohamed Hassan Arabi said the decision would push ahead implementation of the agenda of peace and democratic transition.

He pointed out that North Darfur State Government looks forward for achieving the steps of peace.
