News political Al-Taayeshi Affirms Importance of Peace for Achieving Sustainable Development

Khartoum, (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mohamed Hassan Al-Taayeshi, affirmed that the government is facing a real challenge to realize a peace that solves the root causes of the problem and leads to balanced development.

In his address Saturday at the Friendship Hall to the Symposium on Recovery in Darfur, he said that the government can not achieve a balanced development, effective participation and sound decision-making without reaching a peace that addresses the root causes of the problem.

He stressed that the issue of peace is a key factor for realizing development and construction.

The symposium was organized by the Sudanese Professionals Association in cooperation with Al-Malam Darfur Organization.
