New British Charge D’ Affaires in Khartoum appointed

A press release issued by the British Embassy in Khartoum clarified, that Lewis Walker has been appointed as Chargé d’ Affairs of the British Embassy in Khartoum to succeed , Julian Riley. Walker began her duties yesterday, Tuesday, 1 June 2021.

The release pointed out that the newly –appointed diplomat said” Am looking forward to continue work with the Sudanese and all parties to support peaceful, democratic and prosperous Sudan”.

The British Charge d’ Affaires added that the UK will continue supporting the political and economic reforms being carried out by the transitional government, the implementation of peace agreement and the Second phase of the negotiations with Abdel Al-Aziz Al-Hilo and Abdel Wahid Nur.
