Mufreh Informed on Overall Situations in White Nile State

Kosti,  (SUNA)-Caretaker Wali (goverxnor)_of White Nile State, MAJ. Gen. Haider Ali Al-Teraifi briefed Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments , Nasr-Eddin Mufreh during a meeting at the Guest House in Kosti on overall security, political and economic situations in the State as size of losses caused by floods and rainfalls as well as endeavors made to provide humanitarian assistance to the affected people.

Minister of Religious Affairs told SUNA that the purpose of the visit to get acquainted with performances of state departments affiliated to the ministry and to take part in a workshop on assessment of performance of the 1440H Hajj to identify pros-and –cons marred the previous year Hajj performance .

He added that was informed during the meeting on details related to political, security, economic and social situation and he listened to full briefing on destruction and damages caused by floods and rains.

The Minister announced that the federal government stands by side the White Nile State to overcome the floods and rains impact, calling on national and foreign organizations to support the White Nile State government to reconstruct the affected localities and the floods-affected families

Maj. Gen. Al-Teraifi said that he presented a full briefing to the visiting federal minister on political, security and economic situation as well as the people’s living in the State , referring to importance of visit of the Minister of Religious Affairs to the White Nile State , the first for federal minister since formation of the transitional government to see on the ground the various issues of the State.
