Ministry of Defence Affirms Armed Forces Readiness to Defend the Homeland

Khartoum,(SUNA)- The Chief of Joint Staff, Lt. Gen. (doctor) Kamal Abdul-Maarouf, has affirmed the Armed Forces readiness to defend the homeland and to maintain the state’s sovereignty and dignity.

Addressing a festival held to honor the former State Minister at the Ministry of Defence, Lt. Gen. Ali Mohamed Salim, and the General Inspector, Lt. Gen. Al-Sir Hussein Bashir, affirmed the keenness to promote the Armed Forces when the country is approaching a new era of peace.

He has hailed the honored the former State Minister of Defence and the General Inspector for their distinguished performance and role in promoting the Armed Forces and defending the homeland
