Menawi appointed as Governor of Darfur Region

Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok has issued a decision appointing Meni Arko Menawi as Governor of Darfur Region.

The decision came on the bases of the provisions of the Constitutional Document of the transitional period and Juba agreement on peace in Sudan signed between the government of the Sudan and the parties to the peace process.
