Invitation to Participate in Inauguration of Niger President

The First Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has received invitation to participate in the ceremony for inauguration of Niger President, Mohamed Bazoum, after his victory in the presidential elections.

The invitation was conveyed to the First Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council when he received Monday at the Republican Palace the General Consul of Niger to Sudan, Abdul-Karim Ali Al-Ansari.

In a press statement, the Niger General Consul said that the meeting talked the bilateral relations and the historical ties lining the two peoples.

He stated that his country has successfully passed the test of the transfer of power in a smooth and democratic manner after President Mohamed Bazoum won the presidential elections that were held on February 21.

Al-Ansari noted that he submitted his country’s invitation to the First Vice President of the Sovereignty Council to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Niger President in Niamey in next April.
