Interior Minister Hails UNAMID cooperation

Minister of Interior Gen. (police) Izz-Eddin  Al-Sheikh Ali Mansour received today at his office in the Ministry the Acting Head of UNAMID Mr. Babacar Cissé on occasion  of expiry of his office in Sudan.

During the meeting, the Minister and  UNAMID official discussed the great efforts exerted by UNAMID regarding coordination with Sudanese police in all fields particularly in protecting the civilians in Darfur.

For his part, Mr. Cissé thanked the Ministry of Interior and Sudanese police for their cooperation with UNAMID.
