Initiative on Bases of National Construction Launched

The regular news forum of Sudan News Agency (SUNA) Monday witnessed launching of the initiative on the bases of national construction as an intellectual effort aimed at unifying the ideas of the Sudanese and working on the development of the country, under the auspices of the international expert and head of the initiative, Dr. Al-Samwal Hussein Mansour, and in the presence of a number of thinkers.

The initiative’s member Mohamed Abdul-Gadir Jailani, said that the project aims to achieve national unity according to the intellectual, cultural and historical aspects, and is based on the collective thinking away from ideologies or the exclusion of ideas.

He indicated that the project accommodates and welcomes all national initiatives through a conference that brings together all the initiatives and their recommendations.

Dr. Al-Samwal Hussein Mansour said that the national construction began politically, literarily and socially in the year 1956 and was led by the independence generation, pointing to the impact of politics on national construction.

He stated that it is high time to restore the national construction on the basis of the independence, stressing his support for the project until it reaches its goals

The initiative’s executive director, Mahir Musa Mustafa, announced that the National Construction Studies Center will be established in the coming days to lead a dialogue on the initiative and to assume its implementation.
