Hundreds of thousands demonstrate in support of democratic transition

Khartoum,   (SUNA) – Hundreds of thousands of Sudanese gathered peacefully, Tuesday in central Khartoum to demonstrate their support to the democratic transition and strengthening civilization of the state.

The demonstrations covered most of the streets of central Khartoum and stopped traffic on a day full of political activities and politics.

The demonstrations were called for and participated by 85 entity including resistance committees and different organizations of civil society which expressed support to the completion of the democratic transition amid escalating tension between the military and civilian components of the transitional government.
