Higher Committee for Implementation of Peace Agreement discusses security arrangements Khartoum, Aug. 5 (SUNA) – The Higher Committee for Implementation of Juba Agreement on Peace in Sudan (the Two Areas Track) held a meeting at the Republican Palace today under the chairmanship of Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi. The meeting was attended by TSC’s Member Malik Agar and Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Yasin Ibrahim besides representatives of the Two Areas and concerned bodies. The meeting heard a report by the Security Arrangements Committee, where agreement has been reached on a plan for starting completion of the file of the security arrangements at the Blue Nile area soon and at the other areas at a later time. A number of understandings have been achieved during the meeting that would be implemented soon.
