Hamdouk receives EU Special Representative for Horn of Africa

Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk received at his office here today European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Horn of Africa Ms. Annette Weber.

The Prime Minister received during the meeting a briefing by the European Union Special Representative for the Horn of Africa on her visit to Ethiopia and her meetings with the Ethiopian President, Sahle-Work Zewde, and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed that discussed internal developments in Ethiopia.

The meeting also tackled the visit paid recently by Dr. Hamdouk to Juba in the context of boosting further the relations between the two countries besides efforts of the Sudan for realizing peace in the Republic of South Sudan.

The meeting also discussed the issues of the Renaissance Dam and the borders between Sudan and Ethiopia.
