Hamdouk Appreciates US Administration and Congress Efforts To Speed up Sudan’s Revocation From Terrorist List

Khartoum (SUNA) – Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamduok expressed Sudan’s appreciation for the efforts being exerted by US administration of US President Donald Trump and the Congress to end the designate of Sudan on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, a matter that, will help Sudan integrate into the international economic community and remove many of the economic difficulties facing the country.

Hamadouk addressing the 57th session of the UN General Assembly, through video conference, appreciated the steps taken the American Administration and the US Congress in support of Sudan’s Transitional Government including speeding up the revocation of Sudan’s name from the terrorist list.

He called on the international community to assist Sudan to continue its efforts for writing off the debts and obtain soft loans and that friends and brothers commit to fulfilling the pledges they made in supporting Sudan.

 The Prime Minister affirmed Sudan’s condemnation to all kind of terrorism and its solidarity with the terror victims in the entire world, expressing the country’s readiness to cooperate to implement the UN principles.
