Hamdok Affirms Government Determination to Provide Decent Living for Citizens

Khartoum, (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, has affirmed the government commitment to provide decent living for the Sudanese people who deserve to live in dignity and prestige.

In his address Wednesday evening at the Friendship Hall to the Sudanese people on the occasion of December Revolution, Dr. Hamdok said that the revolution government recognizes and feels the great suffering of the people as well as the size of the great challenges, expectations and the high hopes, pointing to some treatments and the government’s determination to put an end to these crises.

He said that the first budget for the transitional period’s government focuses on the fighting of poverty and achieving social justice by increasing support to the health and education sectors and providing all necessary services.

He asserted the government commitment to a comprehensive and transparent community dialogue to reach a common vision for addressing the economic distortions, boost the production and provide opportunities of a decent life for citizens.
