Government: Closure of ports and national roads hinders development process.

Khartoum,  (SUNA) – The Government, on Sunday warned of the consequences of the closure of the port in Port Sudan, and national roads, which hinders the development process in the country, harms the interests of all Sudanese, announcing that the country’s stock of life-saving medicines and intravenous shops is about to run out.

The Government official Spokesman, underlined in statement on the situations in East Sudan, that the Issue of the East is fair and of top priority, stressing that issue is basically political.

The statement pointed out that the Council of Ministers would like to reiterate its full respect for the rights of citizens to peaceful expression as a constitutional right achieved by the sacrifices of our people, yet the Council should warn of the consequences of closing the port in Port Sudan, national roads that disrupt the country’s development process and harm the interests of all Sudanese people
