Gadi Meets head of UNITAMS

Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Member, Hassan Mohamed Sheikh Idris Gadi received today at his office in  the Republican Palace, Head of the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS)  Dr. Volker Perthes.

The meeting discussed the role played by the mission in supporting the transitional government in a way that makes the mission able to implement its task during the transitional period, on top of which is realization of peace, maintains security and protection of human rights.

Moreover the meeting hailed the adoption of the direct meetings method to hearing ideas and exchanges views with stakeholders in various issues.
