France consents to nomination of Ambassador Manis

The French Government has consented to the nomination of Ambassador Omer Manis as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Sudan to the French Republic.

The Charge d’Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy in France, Ambassador Gebair Ismail, said in a statement to SUNA that an official of the French Foreign Ministry has pointed out that the French Council of Ministers had consented to the nomination of Ambassador Manis in its meeting last Wednesday.

He indicated that the speed with which the French government consented to the nomination of the Sudanese ambassador reflects strong desire by the friendly country to enhance the bilateral relations and develop joint cooperation in all fields
