Foreign Minister Meets ICC Delegation

)-Foreign Minister, Dr Mariam Al Sadiq Al Mahdi received  on Wednesday a delegation of the International Criminal Court(ICC) led by Fakiso Moshoshoko.

The delegation  conveyed  keenness  of   the ICC Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda to visit  Darfur prior to expiry of term of  her office .The  meeting discussed arrangements  for coming vising of the ICC Prosecutor to Darfur  in next June.

 Fakiso Moshoshoko, for his part, lauded role of Foreign Ministry  in facilitating task of delegations  and ease all difficulties  that may face them  to implement items of Memorandum of Understanding signed  in the last February  to boost cooperation between Sudan and the ICC.

Foreign Minister  praised  the ICC efforts  to acheive justice for victims of Darfur war, stressing readiness of  the Foreign Ministry to facilitates tasks of  the delegations  according to the MOU to achieve  the common goals.
