FM to Begin European Tour to Discuss Important Issues

Khartoum, (SUNA)-Foreign Minister, Dr Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed announced that European tour scheduled to take him a number of European countries will look into a hots of topics , top of which are the Sudan’s regional role and the European partnership.

In an interview with SUNA, will be published later , Dr. Al-Dirdiri said the European tour will cover France, Italy, Belgium and Germany.

On second round of Sudan-US dialogue, the Foreign Minister said consultations are under way over the matter.

And on South Sudan peace , the Foreign Minister said there are many requirements that should be implemented .

He said there is no government accepted by all parties in the eight months of pre-interim period and that a government will be formed with participation of all parties after moving to interim period ,indicating that appointment of Special Envoy for South Sudan by President Al-Bashir aims to follow up implementation of South Sudan peace agreement.

The Foreign Minister, meanwhile , unveiled that a number of countries will be invited to take part in peace negotiations in Central African Republic(CAR) including CAR neighboring countries, Chad and Cameroon, in addition to Gabon and Congo Brazzaville.
