Experts: Repeated Seizures of Rapid Support Forces to Weapons are Securing to Revolution and Homeland

Khartoum, (SUNA) – The Rapid Support Forces have seized a large quantity of heavy and light weapons coming from Kabkabiya on their way to Khartoum following confirmed information on the movement of individuals who were active in the trade and smuggling of weapons from northwestern areas of the state.

The commander of Al-Fasher Sector in the Rapid Support Forces, Brig. Jiddo Hamdan Ahmed, has appreciated success of the operation and described it as affirming the ability of the Rapid Support Forces to preserve the security and stability in the country, adding that this operation was not the first of its kind.

He stressed that the Rapid Support Forces will continue to carry out their duties and in full coordination with the other security services, stressing that they are alert to enable the Sudanese people enjoy security and stability.

Meanwhile, the political expert and analyst, Dr. Naji Ali Bashir, praised the tieless efforts exerted by the Rapid Support Forces despite the defamation campaigns that are being carried out against them by some people of ill intention.

Dr. Al-Rashid Mohamed Ibrahim has stressed the importance of sticking to caution and alertness in the current delicate situation in the country and taking into account the need for a smooth transition to the horizons of freedom, democracy and justice, warning that there are many circles in and outside Sudan seeking to abort the Sudanese revolution.
