European Union and UN Organize Media Workshop on Combat of Terrorism

The Sixth Workshop of the Program to Support the Transitional Government in the field of combating Terrorism and Raising the Capabilities of the Security, Military, Legislative and Justice Organs was held Monday.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the partnership program between the European Union and the United Nations in cooperation with the National Anti-Terrorism Authority and the United Nations Integrated Transitional Assistance Mission in Sudan.

The workshop was attended by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the representative of the United Nations Integrated Mission for Support to Transition in Sudan (UNITAMS), the European Union representative, the National Counter-Terrorism Authority, along with a large number of journalists and media cadres, representatives of the Police Forces, the General Intelligence Service, the Military Intelligence and the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Justice and the civil society organizations.
