Dr. Idriss meets Egyptian Ambassador

Khartoum,  (SUNA) – The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idriss met, Sunday, at the Republican Palace the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Husam Issa and reviewed with him the bilateral relations between Khartoum and Cairo and spheres of joint cooperation in all fields.

The Egyptian ambassador said in press statements that the meeting discussed spheres of cooperation in health and development fields, besides the humanitarian assistances extended by Egypt to the floods-affected people in Sudan, pointing out to the air bridge, which began to arrive in Khartoum today.

He expressed his country’s desire to go ahead with the implementation of the joint projects.

Concerning the ongoing initiatives and reconciliation steps between the political forces on the Sudanese arena which aim at realization of the goals of December Revolution and aspirations of the Sudanese people, the Egyptian diplomat underlined that he conveyed to the TSC Member his country’s full support to all the Sudanese initiatives in this connection
