Dr. Idris back home concluding visit to Saudi Arabia

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Al-Hadi Idris returned home today concluding a three-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which he was accompanied by Minister of Animal Resources Dr. Hafiz Ibrahim and Minister of Physical Development, Roads and Bridges Engineer Abdalla Yahya.

The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council was received upon arrival at Khartoum Airport by TSC’s Secretary General Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali.

The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council commended in a press statement following his return home the stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of Sudan at the regional and international arenas besides its support to the country at the recent Paris conference on Sudan, indicating that the Kingdom has been among the leading countries that worked for writing off debts of Sudan.

Dr. Idris pointed out that he had exchanged visions and ideas during the visit with the Saudi officials and businessmen on investments in Sudan, indicating that the new investment law in the country would attract the investors.

He pointed out that the meetings he held in Saudi Arabia tackled the positive developments in Sudan, especially in the political, economic and investment fields and affirmed keenness of the partners of the transitional period on transition of the country to the stage of development and prosperity.
