Dr. Hamduok Affirms NCI Control Over Technology in Government Institutions

Khartoum (SUNA) – The Transitional Prime Minister Dr.Abdalla Hamdouk has affirmed the control of the National Council for information over the Information technology in all the governments’ institutions.

Dr. Hamdouk who met, Thursday, the NCI Director, Ibrahim Baket in the presence of the Cabinet Affairs Minister, Omar Manis called on all government’s bodies, at different levels, to give due concern to information and speed up the issuance of the related directives and decisions that support the center’s process, pledging to provide the requested political support to speed up the digital transformation process and to remove all the obstacles, in this connection.

The NCI Director, on his turn, revealed the center’s readiness to present detailed report to the cabinet to explain the progress of work in the center to discuss the necessary requirements from the government institutions.

Meanwhile, Manis held a meeting with Bakhet dealing with the mechanism for implementation of the Prime Minister’s directives based on the memorandum presented by the center.
