Dr. Hamdouk meets German FM official

Khartoum,  (SUNA) – Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk met yesterday, at his office, Director of the Department of Sub-Saharan Africa and the Sahel at the German Foreign Ministry, in the presence of the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Partnerships and International Cooperation.

The Prime Minister reviewed the efforts being exerted by the government 8in the fields of economic reforms and legislations.

He explained that the four-year period of the transition period will be sufficient for the government and citizens to hold elections in a democratic atmosphere.

The meeting also discussed the developments in neighboring Ethiopia, where Dr. Hamadouk stressed the necessity for negotiated solution to the crisis in Tigray Region, referring that Sudan opened all the tracks to facilitate he delivery of the humanitarian assistance to Ethiopia.

The German Foreign Ministry official briefed Dr. Hamdouk on his recent visit to Ethiopia and his meetings with the Ethiopian officials besides the message he delivered o the Ethiopians represented in reaching negotiated settlement to the Tigray Crisis
